As you can see, family photos were a success!

It was a very merry Christmas here. We tried to keep it very low key so that the focus now and going forward could be honoring Jesus and celebrating our family. But of course we are so very thankful for the love our extended family shows the kids. :) The boys are simply beside themselves with excitement. Watching them play with their amazing new things makes me feel the same pure childlike excitement I remember from my young years.
Leading up to Christmas day, William was especially eager to open the gifts under the tree. Everyday he'd pull one out and ask, "mine?" but somehow he never ripped into anything early. Christmas morning, Mason walked straight to the tree and began annihilating the presents. We were able to distract him with some cereal to give Auntie some time to arrive, but he went back to that tree with a mission: to open every single present.

| Christmas Eve- we open our stockings (I want that to be the tradition and I was so happy when Aaron caved!) |

| They only stopped for food or Thomas the Train. |
 |
| Another tradition start: Aaron made Ebleskivers and they were a huge hit. |
 |
| Their favorite show is Wild Kratts so they loved to 'activate creature powers' with their power discs |

| She fell asleep on us after awhile, poor little thing. |
After we had a wonderful morning here, we got ready and headed over to my mom's for dinner. The boys didn't want to leave their new gifts so they grabbed a handful and happily got in the car. We had a big seafood bake but the boys only ate bread and cereal. (Some days, especially Christmas, we just roll with the punches.)

| I realized I don't have any pictures of breastfeeding my babies, so my sister snapped a pic while Genevieve had dinner. |
 |
| We have a family tradition of getting a box of cereal at Christmas and Mason had his eyes set on Auntie's treat. (The boys got Cheerios and they were STOKED.) |
The next day, my dad and Amy came over for breakfast and we got to enjoy another Christmas. The boys can't even decide what to play with-- they're so happy. :)
